The Green Bay Packers used a 21-point first quarter to take down the New Orleans Saints 42-34 in the NFL season opener.

Rodgers came out on top in a memorable opening-night duel with Drew Brees. After allowing 477 total net yards to the Saints, the Packers defense made a goal-line stand on the final play of the game.Brees threw for 419 yards and three touchdowns,but came up short in the final seconds.
