Weekly Music Countdown (August 14, 2010)

Will Drake & Weezy’s newest track put them at #1 on this week’s countdown?

1. Love The Way You Lie- Eminem ft Rihanna
Still topping off the charts is Eminem and Rihanna. Eminem definitely came back from his last album, Relapse; Recovery has currently sold 1.8 million copies in the U.S. showing that Eminem did make his recovery.

2. Dynamite- Taio Cruz
Taio’s dance hit came up and knocked Katy Perry out of the #2 spot. Maybe he can claim the top spot next week. Until then enjoy this song and video.

3. Airplanes- B.o.B ft Hayley Williams
I was able to listen to some tracks off of B.o.B’s album- B.o.B Presents: The Adventures of Bobby Ray. I must say the songs that I was presented with were great. B.o.B is doing well for himself. His songs seem to always make the countdown. Check out Airplanes ft Paramore’s Hayley Williams.

4. California Girls- Katy Perry ft Snoop Dogg
Katy has dropped out from the #2 spot, but is still holding on to the countdown. Let’s see if she can make her way back up next week.

5. Cooler Than Me- Mike Posner

Posner, who was a Duke University graduate makes his debut album called 31 Minutes to Take Off. It’s pretty good. Check out his album for yourself. For now listen to Cooler Than Me.

6. B.M.F- Rick Ross ft Styles P

B.M.F is still holding steady on the countdown and in sales. If haven’t already, check out Rick Ross’ album entitled Teflon Don which sold 176,300 the first week.

7. Can’t Be Friends- Trey Songz

Looks like Can’t Be Friends is continuing to rise on the Top Countdown. Guess a lot of people will agree on the concept that Trey is singing about in the song. Let’s see if next week Trey can break the top 5. Listen here!

8. Power- Kanye West

In the beginning of this video the eyes of Kanye looks spell binding. Check out the mini portrait/video for yourself.

9. There Goes My Baby- Usher

Usher has made his way back onto the countdown. His airplay has increased dramatically to the point where he re-claimed his spot on the list. Here is There Goes My Baby.

10. Miss Me- Drake ft Lil Wayne
Drake will not make it possible for you to miss him. Making his way on the countdown with the currently incarcerated Lil Wayne. Here is Miss Me.
