Holmes Dealt To Jets

The Jets have traded a 5th round draft pick in this month’s draft for troubled Steelers wide receiver Santonio Holmes.

Holmes was entering his fifth season with the Steelers and has 235 catches for 3,835 yards and 20 touchdowns. He will be a welcome addition to a Jets offense that relied heavily on the run game last season due to average wide receiver play. Holmes has been in the news for a variety of charges but a change of scenery could be the remedy for a personal turnaround.
