This past weekend, I had some misgivings about UFC 130. The main event was supposed to be Frankie Edgar vs. Gray Maynard 3, but both fighters withdrew due to training camp injuries. This led to the original co main event (Rampage Jackson vs. Matt Hamill) becoming the new main event, and Frank Mir vs. Roy “Big Country” Nelson became the new co main event. I definitely wasn’t expecting much out of this one.
The UFC judges are really starting to work my nerves. Last November during UFC 123, I was force fed the questionable split decision victory for Rampage Jackson. Two months later, I found in a similar situation with the Edgar/Maynard draw at the end of UFC 125.
Happy New Year MMA Fans
I hope everyone partied responsibly and safely while enjoying the holidays, with that said, lets get down to business.
With the holiday season upon us, Dana White and the UFC brought Christmas to MMA fans a little early. Or so they thought. Someone needs to tell “Dana Clause” theres coal in our stockings. And we werent even naughty.
