Dear Giant fans,

I don’t like you, i loathe thee. Yeah you won some super bowls and we haven’t and that’s not what bothers us. Its the egregious pursuit of the I’m better then you because i wear blue persona you have cultivated. Jets fans are a rowdy bunch and while many of us have been born with in the last 5 years please kindly remember that gang green always had a core of loyal fans that survived the horrid attempt Mangini made at recreating Patriot culture and the Chrebet concussed quagmires, On Sundays those who choose greener pastures are fervently disrespected by big blue bigots who rap themselves in there Giant towels and pray to their esteemed owner Wellington Mara every night.

A failure to acknowledge Jet achievements and fan-base arrogance on both sides will always put the two at odds and have resulted in friend against friend, Barbershop owner versus homeless man, and countless bar fights. Behind the slobber knockers, and super Sundays there’s a bigger issue looming. Jets fans don’t feel appreciated and were not gonna take it anymore!!!! Yea we haven’t won a super bowl in a while but why is Jet nation made a mockery of and denied its place in football history as the great AFL NFL integrator’s. Why is the continuous burden of winning the right way put on the backs of Jets fans who are just happy that for one time we have received our place in the shine of Gotham city. Fireman Ed often is vilified for being the teams most ardent supporter, its quite sickening.

Ands as the New York Giants engage in turf warfare and the gang green Jets sit home please remember that next year jets fans will still be around not because we hate the Giants, but because only one thing ever mattered to us when it came to football J E T S! JETS!!!! JETS!!!!! JETS!!!!!!

The casual fan speaks the loudest in sports, always did always will. In New York casual fans are letting there voice be heard. For years the Giants were the football team upon a hill and when they entered the stadium on a Sunday it was a big deal, more so then when the lovable but underwhelming gang green enveloped the 100 yard long playground.

Nowadays twitter is flooded with the words #revisISLAND, and #jetsJETSjets the G Men are still relevant but the Jets still have that endearing feel but now there winners. Even prime time networks are catching on tonight the Jets will be making there second appearance on Sunday night football which is TVs showcase for the most intriguing matchup of the NFL week. During 9/11 who was the team New Yorkers were rooting for against the cowboys, certainly not the G Men. Gangreen still plays the role of little brother, the little brother who is now realizing big brother is not that that big of a deal any more.
