Daenerys Targaryen – Noah Syndergaard

Reasoning: There were a few candidates (Clayton Kershaw, Aroldis Chapman) for the Queen of the Andals, the Rhoynar, and the First Men but Noah Syndergaard ended up at the very top of the list. Long blonde hair and brings the heat? Come on. It’s almost a little too perfect. While Syndergaard doesn’t have fire-breathing monsters like Daenerys, his right arm (when healthy) certainly provides the same amount of heat that the dragons bring. Many people expected Syndergaard to sit on the “Iron Throne” of pitching this year but obstacles (such as a partial tear of his right lat muscle) have sidelined him since late April. If Daenerys expects to truly gain the Iron Throne of the Seven Kingdoms, she’s going to have to battle some obstacles of her own too. With the leadership and poise that both characters have displayed early on in their young careers, both should be fine becoming a CY Young and Queen in the near future.
