Remembering Anthony Mason

The NBA community lost a classic player in Anthony Mason who passed away at the age of 48 from a massive heart attack. A fan favorite during his 13 year NBA career, Mason helped form the rugged identity of the New York Knicks teams of the mid-1990s. A unique combination of brawn and finesse, Mason blossomed from a third-round draft pick into a Sixth Man Award winner, All-NBA selection and, at age 34, an All-Star.
