The King Remains Number One
The chosen one Lebron James reclaims his throne as the top player in the NBA by winning his second straight MVP award. James averaged 29.7 points, 7.3 rebounds and 8.6 assists this season while leading the Cavaliers to 61 victories and the top seed in the NBA playoffs.
The official presentation will happen before game 2 of the Cavaliers and Celtics Eastern Conference Semi-finals match up. James who won the award last year will still be facing the criticism if he cannot once again bring a title home to Cleveland. I think it is now highly unlikely that James will be wearing orange and blue next season, tough break Knicks fans.
