Keselowski Steals One Out West
The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series made its final stop on its West Coast swing Sunday afternoon in Fontana, CA for the Auto Club 400. Brad Keselowski, pitted and went for four tires as all the leaders took the gamble with two for track position before the first attempt for a Green-White-Checkered finish. Just after the restart the caution flag flew because of debris on the exit of turn 2. Keselowski began the second two-lap restart in sixth place. Because he had fresher tires, he was able to zoom passed the Stewart-Hass cars in the No. 4 of Kevin Harvick and No. 41 of Kurt Busch on the final lap after the late wreck involving the No. 16 car in Greg Biffle. NASCAR did not throw the yellow flag and let the driver race to the end. Busch loosing the lead on the backstretch, tried to get a run off turn 3, but came up empty. The 2011 series champion picked up his 17th career win.
