NFL 2015 Power Rankings – Week 11

32. Tennessee Titans (2-9) (30) – I have them last mostly because they didn’t look good at all. Its one thing to lose but to lose ugly? Ugh. Next game: vs Oakland Raiders

31. Cleveland Browns (2-8) (31) – Bye Week. Next game: vs Baltimore Ravens (MNF)

30. Detroit Lions (3-7) (32) – To be honest, I think the Raiders had a bad game. The Lions weren’t very impressive. Next game: vs Philadelphia Eagles (Thanksgiving)

29. San Francisco 49ers (3-7) (27) – With Colin Kaepernick out for the season, I can’t imagine the Niners have a legitimate shot to win any more games down the stretch. They barely won any games with him, how can they win without him? Next game: vs Arizona Cardinals

28. Washington Redskins (4-6) (26) – Kirk Cousins came back down to earth and looks like Kirk Cousins again. Next game: vs New York Giants

27. San Diego Chargers (2-8) (25) – Not being able to run the run ball hurt the Chargers immensely.  It puts pressure on Philip Rivers and games like this is the result. Next game: @ Jacksonville Jaguars

26. Dallas Cowboys (3-7) (29) – Tony Romo has every right to say that the Cowboys are going to win out and make the playoffs. What is he supposed to say? That being said, its not going to happen. And while we’re on the topic, can we stop with the MVP talk? Just because the Cowboys don’t have a capable backup quarterback doesn’t mean that Romo is an MVP candidate. The same people that say this wouldn’t say it if the Cowboys didn’t lose 7 straight in his absence. Next game: vs Carolina Panthers (Thanksgiving)

25. Jacksonville Jaguars (4-6) (28) – As weird as it might sound, the Jaguars are better than this. They won but it was a really ugly win. Blake Bortles didn’t look good, their dynamic duo of receivers didn’t look good and it was just a really ugly game. Next game: vs San Diego Chargers

24. Oakland Raiders (4-6) (21) – For two straight weeks, this high powered offense was shut down.Things like this are going to happen to a young team. Next game: @ Tennessee Titans

23. Miami Dolphins (4-6) (20) – Every time I think its time the Dolphins will play up to their capabilities, they disappoint me. They couldn’t run the ball, they couldn’t stop the run and lost the time of possession game by a lot because of that. Next game: @ New York Jets

22. Baltimore Ravens (3-8) (24) – I think the Ravens would much rather have the loss than to lose Flacco and Justin Forsett for the season. They probably won’t make the playoffs and they’ve already got a lot of injuries piling up. That being said, the rest of the season is going to be tough. Next game: @ Cleveland Browns (MNF)

21. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-5) (23) – I hate giving credit to FSU quarterbacks but man Jameis looked good. Five touchdowns is pretty good. He’s progressing pretty well and there’s no reason to believe he won’t develop into a pretty good quarterback…other than the fact that we’ve seen time and time again that bad management can ruin them. Sorry Redskins fans. Next game: @ Indianapolis Colts

20. Chicago Bears (4-6) (19) – Going up against a good defense is always tough. The Bears were held to 3.4 yards a carry and it would’ve been a lot less without Jay Cutler’s contributions on the ground. Jay Cutler was below average and the defense is dreadful as usual. Next game: @ Green Bay Packers (TNF)

19. Houston Texans (5-5) (22) – With the AFC South so wide open, Colts fans are probably upset that the Jets couldn’t put the Texans away. The defense lived up to its reputation and lately they’ve really been carrying the team. Next game: vs New Orleans Saints

18. Philadelphia Eagles (4-6) (17) – Ouch. Can’t be good to have the distinction of being the team to give up five touchdowns to a rookie. Not to say that it doesn’t happen but its still embarrassing.Next game: @ Detroit Lions (Thanksgiving)

17. New Orleans Saints (4-6) (18) – Bye Week. Next game: @ Houston Texans

16. Buffalo Bills (5-5) (12) – The Bills didn’t do everything they could to win this game. Too many mistakes, too many dropped passes. When the officiating is as bad, you can’t leave anything to chance. Next game: @ Kansas City Chiefs

15. New York Jets (5-5) (11) – Injuries are starting to pile up for the Jets and the defense is suffering because of it. They didn’t get to TJ Yates the way they normally would have (sacking him only once) and he was free to get two touchdowns. Even Cecil Shorts got one on a trick play. Next game: vs Miami Dolphins

14. New York Giants (5-5) (15) – Bye Week. Next game: @ Washington Redskins

13. Kansas City Chiefs (5-5) (16) – Who the hell is Spencer Ware? How many unknown running backs are the Chiefs going to pull out of the woodwork? Next game: vs Buffalo Bills

12.  St Louis Rams (5-5) (10) – Todd Gurley has been held in check the last few weeks and of course a Jeff Fisher team shot themselves in the foot. Its tough to win when you fumble the ball four times and miss and extra point. (By the way, I’m loving how the new extra point rule is making things interesting.) Next game: @ Cincinnati Bengals

11. Indianapolis Colts (5-5) (13) – The good news is that the Colts winning kept them around the top of the AFC South. The bad news is that the Texans did the same. Next game: vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers

10. Seattle Seahawks (5-5) (14) – When you see the 49ers on the schedule, you know its “Get Fat” time. Eat dog, eat. Next game: vs Pittsburgh Steelers

9. Atlanta Falcons (6-4) (8) – Paper champs. You know what? They’re not even Paper Champs anymore. They’re Paper Chumps. Cheap pun, I know…but I’m allowed. All that hope at the beginning of the season is starting to dwindle. Next game: vs Minnesota Vikings

8. Pittsburgh Steelers (6-4) (9) – Bye Week. Next game: @ Seattle Seahawks

7. Minnesota Vikings (7-3) (5) – I can’t lie. i really thought the Vikings would win this game. The way these two teams had been playing led to believe that. Credit the Packers defense for playing better than they have been lately. Adrian Peterson couldn’t do a thing, despite the touchdown. Next game: @ Atlanta Falcons

6. Green Bay Packers (7-3) (7) – Where’s this Eddie Lacy guy been? Of course he shows up to ball out after I trade him away in fantasy football, only to pick up James Starks. I think I’m just going to avoid Green Bay running backs from now on. Aaron Rodgers did Aaron Rodgers things and like I mentioned earlier, the Packers defense was a lot better than it normally is. Next game: vs Chicago Bears (TNF)

5. Denver Broncos (8-2) (6) – Brock Osweiler came in and didn’t crash the car. I don’t know how he’ll look going forward but if todays game (against a bad Chicago defense) is any indication, the Broncos won’t skip a beat. Next game: vs New England Patriots (SNF)

4. Cincinnati Bengals (8-2) (3) – I didn’t drop the Bengals too far because I thought they very well could have won this game. I won’t blame the play calling but they definitely should have scored a touchdown instead of a field goal late in the fourth quarter. You can’t give an offense like the Cardinals that much time. Next game: vs St Louis Rams

3. Arizona Cardinals (8-2) (4) – I love this team. I love Bruce Arians. I love that Carson Palmer is balling this year. I can’t wait to watch them play the Panthers in the NFC Championship game.Next game: @ San Francisco 49ers

2. Carolina Panthers (10-0) (2) – Just keep on Panthering. Dab on them folks, Cam. Next game: @ Dallas Cowboys (Thanksgiving)

1. New England Patriots (10-0) (1) – Every time the Patriots win games like this, I can hear Dennis Green yell, “We had em, and we let em off the hook!” The Pats didn’t play that well but the Bills let them off the hook. Next game: @ Denver Broncos (SNF)
