John Wall Hosts 2nd Annual Basketball Camp

Washington Wizards guard John Wall hosts his second annual ProCamp in Springfield, Virginia. More than one hundred kids, eighteen and younger, had the opportunity to learn from one of the NBA’s top point guards for a span of two days.

From 9am to 12pm each day, the campers participated in several different drills at various stations specializing in the fundamentals of basketball. Each player was also placed on a team according to age to compete against the other campers in their grade. Championship games were held on the last day.

The winners of the championships games weren’t the only prize-victors. There were contests, and games like knockout, throughout the camp as well.

“It means a lot to me,” Wall said to reporters. “I’m more excited to meet them than they are to have me here at the camp.”
