Serena Returns To The U.S. Open Finals

Serena Williams has punched her ticket to yet another Grand Slam.

Three-time champion Serena Williams stormed past world number one Carolie Wozniacki to set up a showdown with Samantha Stosur in what promises to be an emotional US Open women’s final.

Williams will be seeking a 14th Grand Slam title and her first since Wimbledon in 2010. The past year has been hampered with several injuries including a series of trips to the hospital. Serena will be representing America on the tenth anniversary of 9/11 giving the match even more meaning.
